I documented the outdoor block party and vendor gathering for New Rose Tattoo’s annual art show in Portland. instead of focusing on traditional wall art, I approached the evening through a street lens—capturing the community around the shop: live DJ sets, outdoor vendors, unscripted human interactions, and the deep creative energy of Portland’s tattoo community.

no flash setups or forced poses—just an honest visual record of the event. shot entirely on 35mm black-and-white film to highlight the rich contrast, deep shadows, and tactile energy of the evening.
