i spend a lot of time observing things most people overlook.

My work is a study of overlooked textures. Based in Portland, Oregon, I operate at the intersection of industrial rhythm and urban solitude. Using 35mm analog film, I seek out the graphic geometries of the city — the way light hits a warehouse bay at midnight, or the permanent weight of a shadow against brick.

My process is a "slow burn." It is an exercise in sovereignty and patience, waiting for alignment within the camera and the real world. Whether capturing the high-contrast drama of a night street or the micro-details of a workspace, I am looking for the permanence in the passing moment.

tactile reality

I shoot film because I want you to feel the photos. By documenting the physical weight of the city, I aim to create an immersive, analog record of environments that are typically ignored.

i’m drawn to high-contrast, TEXTURAL moments.

it is always about the details for me
